The legendary Cappuccino, located in Marina Ibiza, is the venue chosen to present the 2022 Repsol Guide’s new “Solete” award. The “Solete”, designed by Luis Úrculo, is a new distinction to recognise restaurants, beach cafés and terraces with a more informal character but which nevertheless are not be missed this summer.
During the press conference, the Repsol Guide made it known that this year, it will be announcing the distribution of over 250 summer “Soletes” (little suns) among beach cafés, bars, terraces, restaurants, etc. all over the Balearic Islands. Delightful establishments frequented by locals and residents of the islands alike.
In attendance at the presentation on the spectacular terrace of the Cappuccino, with its fantastic views of the town of Ibiza, were Rosana Morillo, director general of tourism of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Dessiré Mostazo, councillor for tourism of Ibiza Town Council, María Ritter, director of the Repsol Guide and Nuria Moreno, the representative of the Tourism Board as well as Eduardo Sanchez, councillor for tourism of San José.
The list of establishments in the Balearic Islands that have won this new award will be made public on 28 June, just in time to make a note on your vacation calendar of the places you simply must visit this season.
