Marina Ibiza has once again received the “Tourism Quality Commitment” certificate from SICTED, in recognition of the efforts the marina makes to implement a quality control system for service. In this way, the marina accredits its compliance with the quality standards and protocols of said certification.
The “Tourism Quality Commitment” project, designed to improve the quality of tourist destinations, is promoted by the State Tourism Secretariat (SETUR), supported by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), with the goal of improving tourists’ experience and satisfaction.
Marina Ibiza has held the “Tourism Quality Commitment” certificate since 2018. The accreditation is structured in annual cycles, following an audit to ensure that an integral, permanent quality management system is being followed, focusing on continuous improvement and a recovery-based attitude that highlights the importance of resources and space.
This accreditation joins the other awards, recognitions and certificates Marina Ibiza has earned, both in the area of quality of service and installations and in the realms of climate and preservation of the environment. The marina is ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified. It also has the EMAS Environmental Declaration and a Blue Flag, in recognition of the quality of its facilities, services and work to raise awareness on the environment. In addition, the marina is certified in the Carbon Footprint Registry and has the IMCI Marina Blue Star certificate under the category of 5 Stars, an international award held by just a handful of marinas in Europe.
