Marina Ibiza recognised with Blue Wake™ validation at Monaco Yacht Show 2025
Marina Ibiza, exhibiting at stand AL43 at Monaco Yacht Show, will showcase its commitment to sustainability
This award reflects good practices in innovation, functional diversity and corporate social responsibility
Marina Ibiza, part of the IPM-IMG Marine Group, has been awarded the prestigious Blue Wake™ validation, an international recognition granted by Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation.
This initiative spotlights the most innovative environmental solutions applied in the international yachting industry.
The Blue Wake™ programme highlights Marina Ibiza’s rollout of the Bio-Box system, a pioneering technology that uses natural microorganisms to degrade hydrocarbons in the water without generating environmental impact. Using a controlled drip system, bacteria are released into the sea to act directly on pollutants, actively enhancing water quality.
Marina Ibiza was the first marina in Spain to adopt this solution, anchoring its position as a benchmark in the protection of the marine environment.
As an official participant in the Blue Wake™ programme at Monaco Yacht Show, Marina Ibiza will enjoy greater visibility at the event, including prominent presence on the MYS interactive map and the possibility of being nominated for the Blue Wake™ Awards, which honour the most impactful actions in sustainability within the yachting industry.

What’s more, we’re involved in sustainable initiatives such as the CICERO Project”, added Daniel Marí.
Held annually at Monaco’s Port Hercule since 1991, Monaco Yacht Show is the world’s premier trade show for luxury and innovation in yachting.
At its 2025 edition, Marina Ibiza will be exhibiting at stand AL43 (Quai Albert Ier), showcasing its commitment to sustainability and environmental innovation.
With this distinction, Marina Ibiza isn’t just reinforcing its leadership in environmental protection in Ibiza and Formentera, but also highlighting its good practices internationally, proving itself as a sustainability trailblazer in the yachting industry.
