Marina Ibiza is partnering with the Palma Aquarium Foundation on its programme to rescue sea turtles, another of the most vulnerable species at serious risk of extinction.

As part of the project, there’s a special tank at the marina for any animals that require aid, so that when Marina Ibiza guests go out sailing and come across a turtle or any other marine animal in distress (they get tangled in nets and plastics), they can bring them back to the marina. They are then collected and transferred to the Palma Aquarium Foundation to be examined and treated by vets and biologists, and later released after their recovery.
