The marina underlines its commitment to sustainability with the installation of six charging points
The stations allow for simultaneous recharges of up to 22kW and are integrated into Repsol’s Waylet network
In addition to the environmental measures implemented this year, such as the installation of solar thermal panels for self-sufficiency, the promotion of the use of electric vehicles, the creation of the first shelter for the Ibiza wall lizard, the application of the Bio-Box system to enhance water quality, and the improvement of the selective waste collection system on board, Marina Ibiza has recently installed three new electric vehicle charging stations, in partnership with Repsol, thereby underlining its commitment to sustainability and the continuous improvement of services offered to its users.
These are three dual outlet charging stations, which allow for simultaneous recharges of up to 22kW, serving six parking spaces strategically distributed around the port, on Pontoon A, Pontoon G, and at the main entrance of Marina Ibiza.
These charging stations are integrated into Repsol’s digital infrastructure through its Waylet app, which allows customers to locate the station, check its real-time availability, activate the recharge, pay securely, and access the receipt from their mobile. They are an efficient and comfortable solution for drivers of electric vehicles who are visiting or staying at the marina.
With this installation, Repsol — a leader in electric mobility in Spain — has added a new location to its network, which already operates more than 2,900 charging stations between public and private facilities.
And with this initiative, Marina Ibiza has taken another step towards its goal of becoming a smart, efficient and environmentally friendly marina, aligned with the principles of sustainability and energy transition that mark the future within the yachting industry.
